When someone talks about a good program for viewing graphics, they mostly mention ACDSee or IrfanView, while XNView gets mentioned rather rarely, despite the fact that XNView surpasses many other similar programs in a variety of parameters. XNView's features include: Import about 400 graphics file formats; Export about 50 graphics file formats; Multipage TIFF, Animated GIF, Animated ICO support; IPTC, EXIF; Resize; Copy/Cut/Crop; Adjust brigthness, contrast...; Modify number of colors; Apply filters (blur, average, emboss,...); Apply effects (lens, wave,...); Batch convert; Thumbnail create; Screen capture (the entire screen, the active window, or the user area); Contact Sheet create; Multi-page file create (TIFF, DCX, LDF); and "many, many other things," including the multilingual interface.
