So if you don't happen to have The Bat!, click the ticker to open your e-mail program where you can call up the messages or delete spam by a simple click. While you're surfing the web, typewriting or playing computer games, TickerMyMail keeps an eye on your mailbox and lets you know as soon as new messages arrive. It's well-known that Windows 2K and Windows XP are incapable of determining and setting optimum refresh rates in OpenGL and Direct3D applications. In some games (e.g., Q3-based games an Serious Sam (FE/SE)) a user may force the optimum refresh rate by means of the game settings. But the number of such "smart" games is rather small. Most of the games under Windows 2000/XP leave a user no choice except the default 60Hz (or 75hz). Obviously, 60Hz isn't the best mode to play or work. This program is designed to solve the problem by letting a user specify the optimum refresh rates under Windows 2000 and XP for OpenGL and Direct3D modes. Supported videocards: ATI RAGE PRO (not completely tested), ATI RAGE 128/RAGE 128 PRO, RADEON (including LE, VE, 7500, 8500).
