EyeCU is a software that uses the Microsoft Video for Windows interface to turn existing PC cameras into surveillance devices. Although this Professional version 2.2 is great for the home PC camera user, it is designed to give maximum performance in professional settings where multiple monitoring devices are required. EyeCU 2.2 supports up to 10 cameras. The standard feature set is packed with every imaginable option, and is truly a must-have application for all PC Camera owners. Using a standard PC camera device, EyeCU 2.2 can detect sound or motion in a specified monitoring zone. After such a detection, EyeCU can record audio, full-motion video, or still images of the intruder. If desired, EyeCU can provide a custom audible warning to deter intruders, as well. After detecting an intruder and recording sound and motion, EyeCU 2.2 can automatically transfer image files via the Internet or an Intranet to your e-mail address, network folder, ftp server, or web server. This is not only convenient, but also allows you to recover evidence of an intrusion at a location completely different from the one where the intrusion occurred.
