The more files and folders there are on your computer's hard disks, the harder it is to remember which folder contains what. This is where Folder Remarker enters the picture. Folder Remarker is a shell extension that allows you to add descriptions and notes to your files and folders. Simply click on a file (or on a folder) with a right mouse button, select the Properties option, and in the opened window fill in the new "Comments" page, adding whatever text you want. Also, you can view and import descriptions from the "file_id.diz" and "setup.ini" files in folders and ZIP and RAR archives. Folder Remarker displays comments in the left side of the Explorer window in "View as Web page" mode (that is possible if you have IE4+), and displays comments in tooltips during mouse hover. Folder Remarker supports all Explorer file operations - after moving, renaming, copying, deleting, and restoring a file from Recycle Bin, all comments will remain intact.
