"The Hiron application is designed to ensure privacy of the user's personal email communications. The most important distinguishing feature of Hiron resides in its sophisticated cryptographic system of unparalleled strength. It is designed to provide the highest-level, long-term security to personal information sent by e-mail. The project's goal is to ensure the level of protection that could stand all kinds of feasible attacks by use of available computing facilities during decades to come, bearing in mind estimated progress in technology and cryptanalysis. To achieve this goal, Hiron employs a series of strongest known cryptographic algorithms (such as Rijndael, Twofish, ...), which are incorporated as building-blocks within an innovative encryption technology. A higher-order elliptic curve is used for asymmetric (public key) encryption. - In addition, the Hiron application involves: Unique encoding scheme. Protection against disassembling, decompiling, debugging, reverse engineering, or tracing the application's normal functioning. Ability to handle documents without leaving any trace of their unencrypted forms on data storage media. Simplicity in sending a document, either encrypted or not, by email: a single click on a toolbar button does the job. The application was designed and implemented by a professional theoretical physicist, who also is an experienced cryptography programmer."
Enables you to remotely shutdown or reboot a computer under W2K/XP control through a network. Also, you can write a message to be shown before shutdown (or reboot). Includes two console programs: LanShutdownc (a console program for computer remote shutdown) and ShutdownC (a console program to control local computer power). These program versions make remote hosts shutdown and/or reboot processes fully automated if you use command files (bat or cmd).
"TS-AudioToMIDI converts digitized music into MIDI sequences - and unlike other programs it can process polyphonic music (that is having many tones or voices). What takes several hours of hard work even for a well-trained musician will be a matter of some few minutes for TS-AudioToMIDI. TS-AudioToMIDI can operate in two recognition modes: off-line and real-time. In off-line mode TS-AudioToMIDI creates MIDI sequences from input files (like mp3s or audio CD tracks). This gives you numerous possibilities: - upload your favorite melody to your web page - play it on your cell phone - use it in your MIDI instrument for training or for background - use it in a MIDI editor (and thus print your MIDI files as musical notation) - make a preview of your mp3 collection (saves traffic on your web site) In real-time mode TS-AudioToMIDI instantly converts music coming through microphone or line input of your computer into a MIDI sequence. Think of this mode as a powerful music processor, which allows some non-MIDI instrument (like a guitar) to sound as a violin or a piano or whatever instrument you've got in your MIDI synthesizer."
