It integrates with the most popular browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera) - simply click the file link in the browser window and DAP will automatically start downloading the file.
DAP can be set up to automatically connect to the Internet at the scheduled time and download certain files whereafter it will disconnect and turn your computer off. It searches for the fastest mirror sites and uses them for faster file download, allows you to preview zip-archives and to download only the files you need (which is a fairly rare feature). With its multiple set-up options, DAP enables you to automatically check downloaded files with an antivirus program, supports proxies, and much more.
